The glow

You know that look you have once you arrive to your  holiday? All the stress is gone, a lot of sleep, happy eyes... The glow is a real thing. Holiday glow. Not only I am stress free but I had so much time to chill and rest , it would be impossible to not look like this.
I have been back home for few days . Spent time with friends and family. All nice. As much as I am enjoying this, I am actually looking forward to be back in reality and my world. This time though, I am bringing my glow with me.
I tried being as comfortable as possible. Also I got slight burn on my skin so wearing as little clothes as possible is great. This was one of my fav looks. I wore it to a diner date with one of my best friends. Super comfortable and easy on skin.

short Primark, top C&A, shoes NEW LOOK, glasses were a gift, earring Primark, lipstick Dermacol and bag Borse in Pelle
Have you been for your holiday this year yet? Or you just planning your trip.
Until next time, keep safe and live your life to the fullest

rowing rowing cornrowing

I love braids! As a hairdresser my favorite technique ever is braiding. Any type I can. With or without extension, cornrows, fishtails, dutch braids, french braids. Just love it.
It is a perfect way to freshen up your summer style. I do them on myself all the time too. It works its magic really!

Get inspired - Get creative - Experiment a little

What is your favorite style? DO you rock them Kardashian braids? Or you like more of boho vibe?
Let me know x

One really Happy Girl

There are many things and places that make me happy. This was one of them. And very high up on the top. Trip to London. My birthday trip actually. I went down south with someone special and I have never felt happier. This city has something that filled me up with joy, hope and new ideas. I realised how many possibilities there really are. It was pretty something.
I didn' t plan on sightseeing or anything. Just needed to feel that big city vibe again. First day was tour round few artsy neighborhoods, second day belonged to especially bankside and Camden. Last day was more of 'someone specials' day. Catching up with friends and showing me Brixton etc. I loved Elephant and Castle vibe. There was something so nice about the mix of cultures and types of people. Same in Brixton. If I was ever to move down to London I would sure think of them two areas.
As far as my closet goes I tried to pack light. Not over packing or nothing like that. These are my go to jeans. I combined them with different tops and accessories. SO yh haha

Did I mention I was happy?

What makes you feel over joyed? Is it a thing or place?

Until next time, keep safe and live your life to the fullest

Grown Up Talk

Life is fucking hard. Adulting sucks. Waking up every day knowing you have to rush off to work, make money, deal with people you wouldn' t necessarily wanna talk to any other day, listening to everyone's problems and then going back home starving and exhausted. Second you get your pay check, all the numbers fly off to god knows where and you are back to stage 1. Isn' t that your dream life?

I love my job. I am crazy happy that my childhood expectation of fun day is actually my now every work day. But it is the same struggle too. It repeats itself over and over till I drop in bed. We all know the drill. As a hairdresser you take care of people. I call it an alternative way of carers job. You get people down, ask whats wrong, what they want and need, try your best making them happy, listen to their life stories, troubles, etc. If you decide they deserve it you offer them tea and biscuit. Or if they are too much and you need them to just shut up for a bit. It really isn' t all fun. At the end of a shift you really are physically and mentally drained.
Then to top it off you get occasional lady or gent that no matter what won' t be happy with your service. Now that can really drag you down. After all that people still expect you to be good fam and friend.
I am an emotional and stress ball guys! Get it?! Do you know why most bartenders drink or take drugs on their shifts? Cause they go through similar shit just for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. I get minimum of 20 long minutes.

As much as I complain , it still is my dream job and I wouldn' t change it for anything unless I really had to. But maybe next time you sit in that chair, think of my words. Or dear family and friends, be aware... next time I behave like a bitch, you probably had nothing to do with it. Might of been that gentleman that wanted a skin fade but as soon as I gave him a 1 on sides he got tears in eyes and felt the regret and gave me a long talk bout what a horrible human I am.
Much Love
